Daisy, also known as D.A.I.S.Y. or Directory And Index System… Yes!, is the head librarian of the Library of All Pages. She is commanding and confident, and prefers to run the Inbetween's Library with absolute authority. She is loud when she needs to be, selective with her words, and unapologetically nitpicky about facts. However, she is not cruel, and her authority comes by through pride in her work. Trivia
- Green has never been late to start the Library's Quiet Hours, or late to close them.
- She knows the exact location of every book, even those not reshelved yet.
- She knows where most overdue books are, too.
- She has never taken a day off in all 1900+ blooms, not even for the holidays. The other Daisies have stopped asking her to. Someone has to run the building.
- Despite her demeanor, many residents prefer to run into Green versus some of the other Daisies.
- The other D.A.I.S.Y.s are Red, Orange, Yellow, Blue, Purple, and Pink.

NOTE: Most voice guides say that sounding like the character isn't required. In Green Daisy's case, it is. We are specifically looking for a commanding voice in a deeper masculine register, while still feeling comfortable assuming the role of a feminine presenting character.
Voice notes
- Extremely low, resonant register. No cracks, no uptalk, no softening.
- Delivers ordinary library policy like it's a matter of life and death. The stakes in her head are always higher than the stakes in the room.
- Her love language is bullying. If she's teasing you, needling you, threatening (very insincerely) to reorganize your entire existence, that means she likes you.
- Sweetness from her is rare, and everyone knows it's rare, which is exactly why it lands so hard when it happens.
- Most important: she never loses composure. Even at her most theatrically intense, she is completely, terrifyingly in control.

ORIENTATION FOR A NEW LIBRARY VOLUNTEER
Congratulations. You have been selected to shelve books in the Library of All Pages. This is not a job. This is a purpose, and I will treat it as such, and so will you. There will be no reshelving by color. There will be no reshelving by "what feels right." There is a system. I did not build the system, I simply maintain it. You will learn the system, and you will follow the system, or so help me, I will personally walk you back to whatever cart you found yourself standing in front of and make you start over. Are we understood? Good. Welcome to the Library.
